'Horsemen'
On the outskirts of Warminster, can be found the small village of Upton Scudamore.
In the 1930’s, a shepherd who was attending his flock of sheep, witnessed coming out of the mist the ghostly apparitions of two horsemen wearing in what can only be described as sacks to keep them dry. It was added that as these apparitions silently approached the shepherd, that both apparitions looked straight ahead without any facial expressions as they returned back to the mist.
