'Dilton Marsh Church'
The vicar of Dilton Marsh was one day leaving his church after a service. He went via a small private path leading out to the vicarage, when he saw a man in evening dress coming towards him. When he was so near to the vicar, that the vicar could have touched the stranger, he said 'Good evening! ' and the man promptly vanished. The vicar says he does not believe in ghosts , but he saw this happen.

'StrangerThing'
Story by webmaster Saturday 7th April 2007 around 4 o'clock. I was taking photos for this web page when a strange thing happened after taking the first shot of the path leading out from the churchyard to the old vicarage. I saw a vortex of wind with straw and dust swerling around the centre. It rose from the path around 8 inches high, and then formed next to the two gravestones in the picture to the left. I took a few steps down the path when this happened again. It actually came towards me This time as I was walking; towards the wooded area. I thought this was strange, but even more bizarre when this happened yet again. This time though it was about five feet away and all of a sudden it became a lot colder.
This may have been ghosts and if so I may have missed my chance to get a photo this time. But there will be many more times I'm sure.
