If you didn’t all ready now it there is a wardour school ghost too. His name was Dave Brown but everyone called him Brown Davies, after the bug. He went to wardour school and lived in a small house with his mother on the edge of the field were the tiny little bridge is. One day it rained and rained and rained and the big river flooded and the field turned into a boggy marsh and the house sank so that you could only see the roof and that is now that little hard lump of grass when you walk there. When the house sank the mud flooded through the windows and drowned Mrs. Brown and Dave in there sleep, a cruel but true death.
Some say when the mud hardened the zombified remains of Dave crawled out through a hole in the side of the attic (and that’s wy it’s like a bridge) and staggered to old wardour castle where it was shot down by the army after causing several deaths and driving a man insane three weeks after he bought the property closest to the castle.
If you have any more theories please tell me.

About 19 years ago took daughter aged 4 to a Teddy Bears Picnic at Old Wardour Castle. Festivities had finished, everyone had gone with exception of a few people clearing up some distance from the castle. Laura and I explored the ruins and could hear old church style singing from within the castle. It lasted for several minutes. Reported it later to custodian. No response.

I KNOW THIS STORY VERYWELL AS ON VARIOUS OCCASIONS HAVE BROKE IN AT NIGHT HEARING RATTLING CHAINS SHADOWS TEMPERATURE DROPS,MIST AND FOG FROM NOWHERE EVEN ONE FRIEND I WAS WITH ONE NIGHT IN THERE SWEARS A FORCE STRUCK HIS FACE AND PUSHED HIM DOWN THE STAIRS!THE GHOST OF LADY URUNDALL DOES NOT TAKE KINDLEY TO MEN!!ANOTHER EVENING IN THERE WE HEARD GROANING AND NOISES SO RAN OUT ONLY 4 A LARGE ROUND BALL OF LIGHT 2 COME FROM THE BACK OFF THE RUINS AND DOWN THE HILL TOWARDS US WE DIDNT HANG ABOUT TO FIND OUT WHAT IT WAS!!
