Many pilots over the years have been killed on the salisbury plains close to boscombe down and Two who were killed in the summer of 1912 could of been
the first in the uk. In the early days of aviation, aircraft engines had very limited power and airframes were basic wood with a cotton cloth surface to
save flight weight. Flight was slow and unstable in windy or gusty conditions, stalling of the aircraft could of been the cause of the accident. Many who
witnessed seeing this phantom aircraft have said that the aircraft has been seen flying over the area of the road junction then seen diving to the
ground.This monument has been placed in the area of the crash and engraved with the names: Captain B. Lorrainne and Sergeant R. Wilson who were the pilots.

I lived in a married quarter at Larkhill 5 years ago. My house was haunted, by what my children saw as a man. When i first moved in my husband was working
away for 2 months, and on a nightly basis, i would call my next door neighbour to come round and check for intruders, as i heard banging, the stairs would
make horrible creaking noises, my dog would not go up stairs, and when he did, he would’nt some back down. I would not spend a night in that house on my own
when my husband came back, if i had to i would arange for my parents to come and stay in advance. My dog would bark at nothing, my mother one night was
screaming because she felt the bed drop at the bottom like someone had sat on the end of her bed, my dad felt he had a hand on his face to where his nose was
a different colour to the rest of his face, beacuse it was that cold. I felt all the time that something was there, to the point where i would run like i was
being chased from one room to the other. My!
eldest daughter had the worst nightmares, or something, where she would run round the house saying that she had to hide all the food, the man told her too.
I even went to the med centre after months of things happening and my daughters not sleeping, things being moved and loud bangs. I sat in the doctors room
and bascially was made to feel like i was mad, as i said my house i haunted. I got laughed at and told it was night terrors my children were experiencing and
everything else could be down to my hormones. My husband was posted after 3 years in that house and and it was such a relief. We moved into our new house,
and my daughters never had a night terror again, i did’nt feel afraid of being on my own, and the whole atmosphere felt different if that makes sense. I
would not, even if i was paid go back to living in Wilson Rd Larkhill. I stayed friends with my neighbour, who in turn made friends with the people who lived
in the house we moved out of. One day she took me r!

just the same as it did when i lived there, an intence feeling of being followed to the point where you wanted to run, heavy, and uncomfortable. I never went

Are you experiencing something strange in your home from the sound of footsteps, knockings or some other unexplained phenomenon.

hi. I also live in larkhill in the married quaters. After reading what you said you re insured me that i was not crazy. I have two dogs and they both go to the same room and bark like mad. I always go up and try and see what they are barking at but can not work it out. They are barking at something out side and there has to be something for them to go as crazy as they do. Also the other night i was in bed and i was half asleep trying to fall asleep again when i swear down on my nieces life i heard someone say in a mans voice “she’s in the middle” this freaked me out as i was in the middle of the bed. Straight away i was like was that me,did i say that. But am 100% sure that i didnt say it. I tried to say it in the voice i heard but i can’t. I don’t know who said it but it weren’t me. I feel like am going mad in this house!!

If you need a quick fix, try asking out loud (“please leave my home, you’re frightening me!”) This has worked with many people who are witnessing these things, but not all the time.

I wish to add that You are not crazy! What you could be witnessing may well be paranormal, but please remember, spirits or apparitions can’t harm you in anyway and most important of all, there is nothing to feel frightened about.
Fear of the unknown is natural survival instinct.

You are so right i live in Durrington i find that Larkhill can be a little scary after hours like i said we live in Durrington and we often smell Tobbacco Pie smell on the corner of our staircase i did not say anything to any of my family at first but when my oldest son came down stairs he said he could smell Pipe Tobbacco on the corner of the stairs i asked him to show me where on the stairs and it was the same place as i could smell it i thought i was going mad at first but it doesnt scare me to realise i have a presents in my home like they say the dead carnt harm you but the living could
